Replicated CiA Spatial Layers
Overview
For any Ci and CiA customers importing or managing spatial data relating to their TechnologyOne P&R (Property, Land, Request etc) or Asset (Eg Asset layers, Work Orders, Defects etc) an extraction process is included in the nightly update that will recreate these layers in the Spatial Cloud.
These layers will be extracted to the following folders:
Data\OUT\Spatial\SpatialCatalogue\PR
Data\OUT\Spatial\SpatialCatalogue\CES
When configuring Property and Asset related selection layers it is strongly recommended these layers are used in IntraMaps modules.They contain base attribute information from their source CiA Spatial Catalogue (not to be confused with the Spatial Cloud catalogue in MapManager) including a MAPKEY field with the required values for any application linking configured to CiA.
While the bulk of these layers use the default CRS set for your organisation some data, such as P&R Cemetery layers, will use the global Lat/Long WGS84 EPSG. When first adding these layers to your Spatial Catalogue in the Spatial Cloud an extra step to set the Catalogue Item EPSG 4326 is required for them to render correctly.
Spatial Catalogue
These layers are built and extracted from replicated Cia spatial data imported and maintained in the EAM and P&R products. By default they contain only MAPKEY (FID) and entity key attributes. However, some of the catalogue layers have had some additional processing added to include some common general fields for layer labelling and categorisation purposes.
